Hi, I’m Katura!

I have a background in science illustration, exhibit development and informal science illustration. Discovering ways to make complex topics feel meaningful, relatable and actionable is my happy place.

Summer 2026 update: This is my second year as a Seattle Public Library Writers’ Room Resident. I am currently writing and illustrating a children’s book about bicycles.
